Releases and songs
The Accentrix’s debut album was released in 2008. The album is truly “indie”- which means independent musician. They are not signed with a label, and all of the songs were written, arranged, produced, recorded, and mixed right in their home studio. The music varies in mood and style somewhat, but it always retains the sound that exemplifies The Accentrix. Due to big changes in their personal life (addition of 2 children) and jobs, they took a hiatus from recording. In 2018 they started writing music and recording again, then released a song, “As it Seems”. In 2020 they resumed and released another single, “Always and Forever”, and are in the process of recording the rest of an EP to be released in the near future.
The Accentrix play a wide variety of music at their live shows. They can cater their setlist to fit many different venues. Whether you’re looking for acoustic jazz for a fine dining establishment, a brewery pub style americana/progressive bluegrass with classic rock hits mixed in, or a full 4 piece blues/classic rock festival band, The Accentrix can fit your need. Their basic genres include: Folk/Americana/New Grass, Blues/Funk/Soul, Jazz, and Rock/Classic Rock.
